CrossTown Acquires Dowers Delivery Service

NASHVILLE, TN, AUGUST 1, 2008:
CrossTown’s CEO, Scott Evatt announces today that the company has purchased Dowers Delivery Service of Knoxville. This event marks the company’s third such acquisition of 2008.

Dowers provides transportation delivery services throughout East Tennessee, North Alabama and North Georgia. The company’s primary customers are The Mattress Outlet and Mattress Gallery.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

According to Scott, “We hope that through this acquisition a wealth of new warehouse inventory management and logistics services can be leveraged to meet the growing service needs of The Mattress Outlet and Mattress Gallery.”

CrossTown Acquires Premier Express Courier

NASHVILLE, TN, MAY 1, 2008:
CrossTown’s CEO, Scott Evatt announces today that the company has purchased Premier Express Courier of Chattanooga. Premier provides scheduled/routed and on-demand courier services to several medical and business customers. Chattanooga Oncology, Rhea Medical Center, Chattanooga Surgery Center, and Signal Mountain Cement are a few of the company’s customers.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

According to Scott, “Premier Express Courier has been a leading provider of scheduled courier services in and around Chattanooga for several years. CrossTown Announces Steven Seger as New President

NASHVILLE, TN, FEBRUARY 1, 2008:
CrossTown’s CEO, Scott Evatt announces today that Steven Seger has been hired as the company’s new president. Steve will oversee the company’s transportation, logistics, and critical storage lines of business.

CrossTown Announces Employment of Gerald Wiggins

KNOXVILLE, TN, OCTOBER 21, 2008:
CrossTown’s CEO, Scott Evatt announces today that Gerald Wiggins has been hired to oversee Sales in the company’s Knoxville operations. Gerald comes to CrossTown with a wealth of experience in Knoxville transportation gained over the past 20 plus years.
